Miss Whitney's eyes

Last week our elementary school held a relay race as a booster club fund raiser. I took a bunch of pictures at the race (post to come) but I had a favorite and decided it should have a post of it's own.

This is Whitney. She's the daughter of one of my good friends and she's always been such a cute little kiddo. She is 6 years old, but is really good buddies with my 9 year old, Brynn, because they're both horse-crazy girls. They went on a fun horse ride all over town by themselves the other night on Whitney's nice old mares and had the time of their lives.

People have accused me of having a foot fetish, but in reality I have an eye fetish - they're by far my favorite photo subject. And Whit's eyes are so pretty I was glad to finally get a shot of them.

Isn't she beautiful? I think so, and she's a delightful little person as well - sparkly, fun, sweet and full of personality. Love ya, Whit.
