This Woman's Work

I haven't seen this movie in so many years, but for some reason the other day this gorgeous song came into my head.

And I remembered how much I loved it. Kate Bush's voice is so unique, clear, haunting.

Easily my favorite scene of this movie.

"Pray God you can cope.
I stand outside this woman's work,
This woman's world.
Ooh, it's hard on the man,
Now his part is over.
Now starts the craft of the father."

I love Kate Bush. She is somewhat similar to my all time favorite artist Tori Amos. I have actually not seen this movie yet, but Sally and Melanie and I are about to start a John Hughes movie marathon, so I will be seeing this movie soon!

Yeah no kidding - KATE BUSH is awesome!!! (Ronnie - so is Tori Amos of course.)

Sarah A. is not too fond of her. (Kate Bush is an acquired taste!) The other day she asked "Can I borrow some music?" And then was quick to add, "You know, NOT Kate Bush." Hmmph.
